Well I just wanted to post a pic of the hands around the classroom quilt that I am doing for my daughter, Leigh-Anne's 2nd grade class. We have been working on it since The end of January and she will need it by Monday the 22nd. I am stitching in the ditch around the blocks and will do something with the borders at the end. But I just wanted to post a pic for those that have been following me on this journey...enjoy

Very Cute! I am also working with my DGD's 3rd grade making quilts for their teachers. I did a trunk show and talked about quilting. Each child received an 8.5x 8.5 block of muslin to draw a picture. There are 3 3rd grade classes and each class is choosing a theme and drawing/coloring a picture to support the theme.
